At Keep In Touch, we aim to provide professional diagnostics and high-quality electronic repairs. This policy explains your rights and our terms regarding diagnostics, repairs, refunds and warranties.
Some devices require diagnostic testing to identify faults.
A diagnostic fee may apply and is non-refundable, as it covers the technician’s time, testing equipment and expertise used to assess the device.
If you decide to proceed with the repair, the diagnostic fee may be deducted from the final repair cost where agreed.
All repairs are carried out with reasonable care and skill in accordance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Once a repair has been completed and the device has been tested, the service is considered fulfilled.
Due to the nature of repair services involving labour and installed parts, completed repairs are generally non-refundable.
If a problem occurs that is related to the repair performed, we will inspect the device and, where appropriate, repair the issue.
Most repairs include a limited warranty covering the replaced part and the workmanship of the repair.
The warranty does not cover:
• accidental damage
• liquid damage
• impact or drop damage
• misuse or improper handling
• software issues unrelated to the repair
• repairs or modifications carried out by another service after our work
Replacement parts may be original, refurbished, or high-quality compatible parts depending on availability and customer choice.
All parts are tested where possible before installation.
Refunds are not provided for installed parts unless the part is confirmed to be defective.
Customers will be notified when their device is ready for collection.
Devices not collected within 30 days may be subject to storage charges.
Devices left uncollected for an extended period may be considered abandoned, after reasonable attempts have been made to contact the owner.
